Discovering Olson’s work nearly twenty years ago I was intrigued that a painter of such talent had been apparently so neglected in the 21st Century. In his lifetime he was celebrated in both Sweden and France gaining commercial success and state recognition but in recent decades his star has waned. We feel it is high time that his paintings had a reappraisal and hope that this collection, put together over twenty years, will go someway towards shining a light on this forgotten master.
